Does Rhino8 support operation on Windows embedded standard 7?
The operating system is installed on various machining machines, and I want to run it there.
Rhino hasn’t supported Windows 7 in a few years, and anything running Embedded would be way, way below minimum specifications.
Rhino 8 only supports Windows 10 and 11. You could buy a V8 full license and get a free V6 legacy license with it. Rhino V6 will certainly install and run on Windows 7, Rhino V7 may or may not.
No version of Rhino has ever been tested by McNeel on Windows 7 Embedded. Even if you are somehow able to get an older version of Rhino to run there, we will not be able to provide support.
