Windows 7 bugs

I hope windows 7 is still supported…
Last year my panel gear menu (top-right of any panel) started showing an almost fullscreen wide solid gray windows with no text at all, unusable. I get used to panel menu instead.
Lately, the sub items of icons do not work anymore. The small lower triangle responds as a simple mouse click and triggers the top icon command.
Am I Alone to experience that ?

Regards

Here is my systeminfo :

Windows 7 is no longer officially supported according to the McNeel website, but it should still work OK… Your video driver is from 2017, I would start by updating that with the latest available for that card from the NVidia website.

The card itself is also a bit weak, but it should still be OK if you don’t stress it too much - and hopefully the driver update will help with the panel display problem.

I know my laptop is getting old but it’s still really useful and not slow enough to get rid of it.
Softwares compatibility will make it obsolete.
I have the latest driver… april 2017…
Regards.

Yeah, OK, thought there might be a later one… in that case I don’t really know what else to do… sorry.

at work I use a laptop with Win7 and indeed there are some bugs that appear there but cannot be reproduced on my Win10 pc

Right. I also have a Win10 station at work. But sometimes, and more often lately ;), I have to use my laptop. Those bugs are win7 related only.
