Windows 11 Won't Preview Rhino files in File Explorer

I recently had to make the switch from Windows 10 to Windows 11. When I did, the preview pane in the file explorer wasn’t working for any files. Most of them are now working but Rhino files still won’t preview. Does anyone know haoe to fix this?

Hi Dsaldoff -

Have you tried repairing the Rhino installation from the Windows Control Panel?
-wim

This used to be an issue but it seems to have come good with the passage of time - and I don’t recall actually doing anything to make it work.

I do run the latest service release candidate and let Windows Update do its worst though.

You mean the latest Windows where all files it thinks came from the Net have the preview blocked?

yes!

I haven’t tried to fix it yet but there are ways to run a command line thing to make it stop doing that for any particular filetype…just make sure you find a reputable source
