Why the first sweep is empty?

Hello,

I am trying to sweep this 4 rails but the first rail is turning to be empty. Anyone know what is happening?

The topic might be solved for you but it is not clear why the sweep fails depending on where the section is placed along the rectangle.

I took off the solution check

Now I have the same problem in other situation. The sweep 1 changes when moving the seam in the Z axis. But in this case now, i cannot have in any way all of the sweep at the same time.

I noticed this when I played around with your file earlier…

My guess it’s a tolerance issue. Projecting the oriented sections to a perp frame on the rail seam seems to be quite reliable. The result is still an open brep but you can explode and join it and then merge all coplanar faces and the result is nice.
