That’s it, I have been using Rhino for 8 years now, and I have been using SketchUp for its shadows and exporting capabilities for almost the same time, paying for its subscription only to for the shadows.
Will this come to an end?
A screenshot would help show the issues maybe???
Apologies — I assumed this was a common issue everyone experiences. That was my mistake.
That said, I consistently face this problem regardless of the settings or upgrades I apply to my PC. It becomes more noticeable when working with larger or more complex geometry, especially with shadows, the edges often appear wiggly and not clean.
On the other Hand, SketchUp always renders shadows correctly and cleanly, which makes the issue even more apparent by comparison

Images are hard to troubleshoot. Can you post a 3dm file that we can take a look at?

I have been busy trying to build something like this. I am fairly sad that this basic functionality is not included. This is pretty buggy but it can help with the issue somewhat… Sorry this is 70% vibed, but at least a start
