Why is there no warning that a trim removes the Subd object?

You get a warning when history is broken, but not when Subd objects are broken?

I’ve never used Subd in Rhino before and luckily I didn’t ruin too my of my work, but it was still a surprise. Regular objects can at least hold one level of trim in its active history!

Also, I long for the day when history can stack in Rhino…

Hello- can you explain what you mean by this? I don’t know what it means when a subD object is ‘broken’. What are the steps you take and what do you expect to happen?

When an open or closed SubD object is trimmed or split it converts all geometry to NURBS.
