Why is the gizmo in Rhino called a ‘Gumball’?
I’m a Rhino newbie from Japan, just curious. Thank you
Reminds me of gimbal:
a device with a circular part that turns around a fixed central axis (= straight line), used for keeping a compass, camera, or other piece of equipment in position when it is inside a moving vehicle or object:

probably a pun?
that is an excellent question, and i was wondering all the time why i can not find any information on this word other than chewing gums and gumball 3000 (whos name most likely derives from a gumball machine which was the price in the 70s)
so yeah, whats the story behind Rhinos Gumball?
