Why does simple snap fail in this rotate?

rotate sloping rectangle about ‘A’ selecting the rectangle at ‘B’ to snap it to point C to form an ‘N’ shape.

circle enables me to find exact part of rectangle that will snap to ‘C’.

Do a one-shot end-snap by holding shift and checking the end snap box.

Int and End both worked fine here.
