Which Version of Visual Studio to create a .NET Plugin for Rhino 7

I’m looking for a new generalized CAD program that can handle architecture projects.

I’d also like to take a shot at writing a plugin using .NET RhinoCommon SDK.
What is the approved version of Visual Studio IDE.

I know there are currently versions for 2017, 2019, and 2022.
Since 2022 was initially released on Nov 8 of 2021…it probably needs another 6 months to stabilize.

The latest version of Visual Studio 2019 is 16.11.9 which was released on Jan 11, 2022.

I’ll download any version the Rhino experts recommend.
I assume the “Community” (free version) will work.

Any of these will work, so it’s really up to you.

I have not heard of any stability issues with 2022.

I’m still using 2019, fwiw.
