I have just bought a new system with a quadro k2200 card. I want to download the latest driver of nvidia. They give me the choice between an ode graphics driver, performance driver, autocad performance, 3dsmax performance, mosaic attribute and mercury transmit plugin.
Which one should i choose?
I don’t know the differences between those drivers but here’s a wiki page we’ve been keeping with all the Quadro info we know so far. http://wiki.mcneel.com/rhino/nvidiainfo
If you mean “download” literally then copying a file to a computer won’t do anything.
If you mean install when you wrote"download", AND you were running a pre-340.66 version driver, then you should notice a big difference.
i offcourse installed the driver and am not sure which version i was running before. I am running 918134121 now. It made no difference in the 100 sphere test and the holomark2 would not run in the beginning. I now get a score of 65000 in Holomark2. Is that a good sign?
I also made the changes described in the nvidiawiki.

You would be surprised at the astounding number of people that don’t understand the difference between “downloading” and “installing”. Using a single term to describe two different processes causes a tremendous amount of confusion.
I think 65000 is a very fast Holomark score but you’ll need to check in with Holo or the other people that use the tool. There is lots of good information in the discussion archives on that subject.
Just because you installed an updated driver doesn’t mean you will notice any difference. In fact, given the quality if video on PCs these days, I doubt you will ever notice a difference, unless there was some significant bug fix included in the updated driver.
