It would be cool to be able to click on the CPlane name and evoke a dropdown list of the saved CPlanes for a quick change (similar to how the the quick layer actions on the bottom Status bar works, or the viewport dropdown menu on the left side after clicking on the tiny triangle).

I think the status-bar could also be a good location for an indicator or even a place to switch/drop cplanes down as Bobi suggested.

Personally I like HUD style overlays. So that the viewport below remains mainly unobstructed but things are close to where my eyes are looking at. Cursor tooltips are a good idea but I never used them much because they create a opaque window and the command prompt disappears after the command is finished so that reading info/feedback isn’t possible.

I think all that could go into a nice configurable HUD floating on top of the viewport.

I am digressing… but wanted to add that here :slight_smile:

It would be a nice addition. Count my vote on this and Bobi’s idea to use it as drop-down menu to select other cplane on the fly.
