Perhaps it will be good if Mcneel send out an official warning to Mac users [by mail also]
I’m seeing a few posts of people having problems with the beta after upgrading to Sonoma
Unless of course, if these are simple things that can be fixed quickly…?
Personally I’m holding off upgrading for now.

Probably best to hold off for another week. We are seeing some lock-up issues that have been happening on older versions of macOS, but seem even easier to hit in Sonoma. We are actively working on this to try and figure out the cause.
Is Beta Safe to upgrade by now?

i dont know what the rush is… since Jobs is gone, Apple did not take one right turn in their OS, constantly adding new goofy stuff and animations which get slower (good if Tim Cook has time to proudly watch them, but people actually working on the computer are not that lucky and patient), and breaking and never fixing other things i am really not eager to update anything anymore.
Probably best to wait one more week. We have fixes in for several of the lock-ups in the latest beta, but we do know of one other lock up that we are trying to track down.
Note: the issues we are trying to fix are not isolated to Sonoma, but seem to be much easier to reproduce in Sonoma.
