When Sketchup file is imported, Is AttributeDictionary read?

The file that I import from Sketchup as an Attribute Dictionary associated to some faces (see http://www.sketchup.com/intl/en/developer/docs/ourdoc/attributedictionary) . I wonder if when the file is imported into Rhino, these attributedictionary is translated into an UserDictionary?

So far I have seen that there are UserData but I still have to understand how to read them. To go faster, I am using the C# script module of Grasshopper but so far, the results are frustrating. I definitely have to spend more time to understand well how it works, but in the meantime, if someone has the answer, it would be great.

Thanks
Serge

I don’t think we import that data, but @tim would know better than me since he wrote the importer. @tim and word on this?

Hi Serge,

I know that we don’t do anything currently with attribute dictionaries in SketchUp import. I will look into hooking it up in V6 but it won’t happen in V5. (V5 uses the old Google SDK and it would just be too difficult) I’ve added it as a item on my V6 list to do. http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-27511

Tim

Thanks.

FYI: I do not access to the list: new registration is disabled! But that’s just to say as I do not see why I should really have access to it except to check if the Geolocalisation of a SU files is also to be imported in Rhino V6
