Hi, I do see a difference with a black background - the R8 curve becomes very spidery:
However, you can make it look like the R5 curve without having to downgrade the OpenGL level:
Go into Options and experiment with the Scale setting here:
Of course, it is a bit of a pain having to go through all the object types in all the display modes where you don’t like the standard settings in order to make the change everywhere necessary. But it does mean that you’ll avoid losing Rhino functionality that depends on having OpenGL 4.1 or higher - and also that your arrowheads will work without having to wait for the bug fix!

@wim @stevebaer @jeremy5 I tried setting OpenGL down to 1.1 and OpenGL 2.1 using the Linetype Dots feature, but the line does not display as dashed. Something is preventing this feature from working. Please help me understand and find a solution. Thanh you.
Not all features are available at these low OpenGL levels.
