When attempting to snap on too many items inside a block Rhino crashes

Hi,
I noticed this when working with a cadaster, which has a lot of 2d geometry, text, hatches etc.

So I try to work and snap but when I move the cursor on top of this drawing rhino crashes because it attempts to snap on too many items. This didn’t happen on rhino5.

Update on this.
This happens only if the geometry is blocked. So all my cadaster drawing was one block. I have no problems after I exploded it.

Hi - please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and post the result here!

Here it is,
I might also be able to send you the file but not on the forum.

Hello - can you please send the file in its ‘bad’ state to tech@mcneel.com? Please also include a link to this thread in your comment.

Also, is there any difference if you start Rhino in Safe Mode?

Start Rhino in Safe Mode: Windows start menu, type in ‘Rhinoceros’ and look for the ‘Rhinoceros in Safe Mode’ entry.

-Pascal

Ok, I sent it. Safe mode doesn’t help.

Hello - thanks - it works fine here, so far. The easy thing to try is to update your quadro driver - see the Notifications panel (Panel menu > Notifications) and double-click the notification about the driver - use Check Now in the subsequent dialog and get the new driver installed. Let us know, please, if that helps, and which driver you got.
