what i meant…
and yes, I do have good experiances in creating and optimizing uv´s in blender and using them in GH
Excellent
, although it is a manual process, it has great potential to help.
I managed to project and return to the original mesh the shapes I want to remove, but I am unable to trim / split mesh. The cuts get out of control and the mesh is destroyed.
Is there a way to perform the cutting at the stage when the mesh is spread or to project surfaces instead of curves?
Excellent
, I went through the script and I’m sure it can also be used for parametric testing of patterns. Now my problem is that I already have a given shape but it doesn’t have a UV map. I extracted it from an existing shape, how would you suggest creating a UV map for it and combining the ideas?
I don’t know how I can help you with this.
…and if you dont want to switch to blender for that you could assign uv coordinates to each vertex in grasshopper using scripting or the plugin human
Okay, thanks a lot for the help so far, I’ll update if I find a solution.
