it seems these work now by switching between ctrl and and shift while before we had alt switching over. ok after fiddling around i accidentally managed to figure it out, but how many people are going to be tortured now again just because a handful of special case people mentioned they want to teach students a bit more homogenously because we all need handholding. ok be it, all others have to suffer, but frantic vibes aside… if that would at least work now. after switching over with shift or ctrl getting back to the regular osnaps seems completely impossible, i hacked my keyboard into oblivion and managed to get it back once in 344553 clicks… how is that supposed to work? being vigilant what i pressed i managed somewhere along the lines of ctrl shift in succession but that can just be coincidence. i at least have not figured out how to reliably get it back and am currently stuck hacking a further 344553 clicks into my long lost keyboard.
please somebody tell me i am dreaming or am just way to dumb for it.
Edit: i managed to successfully repeat it… but that can not be and must be a bug i wonder how many people have figured that out by now or maybe its just my Rhino?
ok that was my mistake in having some knots in my brain, i have been sitting on v8 for too long now that caused some rewiring obviously and some confusion.
i actually meant the one shot osnaps, in v7 you had a button for it,
now you have to get lucky fidding around with keys till you find something, so hitting shift or ctrl for different one shot o snaps to toggle them. toggling only works when you are inside the box.
go to the box and hit shift, cool, now hit ctrl… nice! now get back to the normal osnaps. any luck?
yep seeing that here too… if you click out of the tab say to the filter tab and back the regular osnaps come back… but that is clearly a bug as it should toggle in and out of one shots with the shift key and revert to regular after the one shot is completed.

thanks Kyle, i just updated 8 (8.4.24016.19002, 2024-01-16) and something changed, now it reverts back without being able to apply the one shot at all.
@encephalon I found this as well and have most of the goofy bits fixed. I don’t think the radio buttons are returning to the mac but the ALT/Command key states are fixed along with some other synchronization issues that were spotted. These should be in 8.4 when it rolls out.
