Sure, thanks. You?

Experimental architecture and design, creative coding (GH, openFrameworks, Cinder, Processing, etc.), 3D-printing, swimming and exercising, recently Grasshopper plugin development (no teasers!!), reading - mainly fiction (currently “Norstrilia” (1975) by Cordwainer Smith) -, cooking (although a daily chore), drawing, and socializing with friends and family!

Typing code, natural languages (grammar mostly), playing guitar and piano (and oboe when I feel like annoying the neighbors), sketching, reading and watching sci-fi (or speculative fiction as it is called these days), watching motorsport. And playing video games (according Steam I have 252 titles, that is not counting everything prior to Steam, nor anything on PS4).

Cycling in the Alps. And I’ve started learning piano last year to keep me busy during the winter months.

My hobby is sailing. So I get all sort of maritime presents. Recently I’ve got such a wood ship kit. I’ve started to build it but I’m not ready yet. I’ll keep that for the winter break…

Funny how we tangentially swapped places during Rhino :grinning:
I grew up in Stuttgart and my hobby was to go over the Alpes over the WE with my XT600 Tenere.

Hmm… also in no particular order

Motorcycling in the Alps - lots of passes under my wheels, but still more to go…
Home improvements (I’m always fixing/building something)
Walking/hiking
Photo - although I don’t really consider that as a ‘hobby’ - I did it fairly seriously many years ago and am getting back into it after a long hiatus.

Actually I don’t consider any of the above really ‘hobbies’ - it’s not a word I like to use all that much. More like ‘personal fun and enrichment’ or something like that…

Great compilation here! Interpreting hobby as something that I do for quality of life and isn’t part of livelihood directly:

  • play games with my kid
  • dharma yoga practice
  • walking and bicycling the streets of NYC
  • plastic arts + digital sculpture
  • daydreaming
