What is the fastest way to find an intersecting point of two surfaces

Is there a way to simply locate a point where two surfaces meet?

are scripts allowed?

Hello - the Intersect command should give you a curve there.

-Pascal

Thank you that is helpful. I was also able to use project. About the same number of steps.

Sorry, I’m not sure what scripts are. Level one user

Project may result in wrong curves as project is influenced by the camera, AFAIK.

scripts are files you can run that automate the processes in Rhino.

In your case a script would include:

  • creating intersection curve
  • extracting the end points of that curve
  • deleting the curve (optional)

If modeled cleanly, there should also be a snapping point at that location if you have the int Osnap enabled
