Hi,
V5
I wish to reach for a command that will treat these lines as if they are objects and union them together !
is there a quick way, or is it trim and trim and so on then join all ?
union lines.3dm (33.8 KB)
Cheers

Try CurveBoolean
Hi,
says click inside regions to keep, so as much clicking as with trim.
and one doesnt see an instant result as with trim, tricky knowing what to keep and not.
anything to do it in one hit ?

highlight all your curves, run CurveBoolean, in the command line options- DeleteInput=All, enter
edit- CombineRegions=Yes, click AllRegions) hopefully gets you what you need
Hi,
on another array, selected those options, then its still saying click inside regions, so I have to carefully click a cross then a join square then ditto, working my way along all crosses,
hoped it wouldnt ask me to click again and again carefully in areas, Trim I suppose might be a bit slower.
Try clicking outside.
Select all your curves, CurveBoolean, then click outside the figure somewhere… that will get you the outline as in your first example.
