What command to analyse joint between line and arc for tangent?

Hi, V5
what command on a joint between a line and an arc can I use to see if it (line) is tangent to arc at its join with same ?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve GCon , If the curves are not actually joined, normal selection ; if joined , use Ctrl-Shift sub-object selection.

-Pascal

Hi,
not joined,

I get ‘curves are G1’

says thats tangent line to curve, am I right ?

Cheers

Steve

To within the angle tolerance of the file, yes, however the actual number of degrees is also printed in that GCon report on the command line.

-Pascal

Hi,
V5
.perhaps in a later version, as no degrees gets reported on my command line.

Cheers

Steve

This is what I see in V5:

Curve end difference = 0.000 millimeters
The radius of curvature difference cannot be calculated.
Tangent difference in degrees = 0.000
Curves are G1.
