Weird Bug: Command line reports open polysrf on closed one

A closed polysrf is being reported as open in the command line while closed in the properties, checking with ShowEdges shos that the Polysrf is indeed closed.

Bad object…

  Geometry:
    Invalid polysurface.
    closed polysurface with 1693 surfaces.
One or more surface normals are not oriented.

Explode the object. SelBadObjects - one planar surface will select. Delete it. Join all and Cap. Object is good and closed.
