Weaverbird Frame to beam

Hello, at my current job, I’m looking for the best way to make beams for a structure. I’d like to use Weaverbird Frame for this because it seems to have the intersections I need. Does anyone know how to do it? I’ve tried using trees, splitting solids… but to no sucess.

Any one can help-me?

Thank you so much for your quick response. I think I might be missing something in the file you attached.

I tried to replicate the definition in the image, but it still doesn’t turn out how I wanted. The surface I got when I “baked” the beam is split in half. I need to add thickness because the final file will be 3D printed. Your approach is a great starting point; I’ll keep trying, combining it with other components.

Anyway, any help is welcome; if you can solve this puzzle, I’d be very grateful.

Each branch contains two separate surfaces, use Brep Join to combine them, if you need a single Brep. Have you noticed the Brep Join in the GH file I shared?

Thanks! I see you’ve updated the file. Now I’ll work on defining a thickness or shape that I can use for 3D printing.

So, I followed Jessesn Chen script and did the same for the other Weavebird component. The beam in the middle works fine, but I couldn’t figure out how to make the middle part; some faces are missing. I really appreciate your help. Thanks again, everyone; I learn a lot from interacting on this forum.
