From a filleting and rendering exercise for students. Much use of FilletSrf, and a very reliable tool at that. Not a single “edge” or “joining/boolean” necessary, yet you could CNC-machine the parts (knurling faked with displacement).

Is that for technical reasons or is it just not implemented yet?
Also: will the “distant between rails” and “distant from edge” options be part of this command in the foreseeable future? This is the most important feature missng for the moment imho.
The new “continue across faces” option in v9 WIP does not work for G2 blends, because the continuation is across tangent faces, and G2 blends can give gaps in the fillets. This happens if both surfaces are curved.
In the attached file, an example of G2 blends across tangent faces that give gaps.
