When I apply a color texture to an object, and choose WCS/OCS in mapping section, then copy & paste that object to another instance of Rhino, the Map size gets multiplied by 1 million.
file and steps to repeat in that file will help a lot so we can see what you are seeing.

From a mm file to a mm file I see 1.0 turn into 1000000.0 - kinda sounds like twice the ‘millimeters in meter’ gets applied.
