I’m using WCS mapping for a bump map on curved and ruled surfaces and not getting very good results in Neon, the sort of thing where you can see variances in shading from polygon to polygon. It looks fine in Brazil.
Thanks Jim, I just filed this as NE-522, this report is not public at this time. I found that the facet effect which is what I think you also are seeing was caused by tiling more than a certain amount as well. WCS just makes for a tiny bump by default. Please post any screen shots of what you see when reporting a bug if you can.
Now strangely after re-opening the file it seems alright again.
