Wave equation 3D graph

Hi all,

this must be something simple, but I cannot get my head around this.

I want to graph this equation in grasshopper:

matlab - Plotting wave equation - Stack Overflow.

I get quite another graph :slight_smile:

indeed you dot it well, except pat Rhino lives in an non deformed world. In order to see the shape or you change the “20” to lower values or scaleNU in Z the shape.

BTW: There’s faaaaaar more elabolated takes for the “drop on Mesh” thing. Search the Forum (I forgot the related thread name(s)). Anyway see this as well:
