The WIP installer creates a shortcut “Rhino WIP in Safe Mode”.
For some unknown reason, this was blocked on your system.
Maybe an overly zealous antivirus tool?
My system has this link, so I don’t know how to reproduce the problem.
It’s not all that important.
I’ll unpin the icon from the taskbar before I’ll update next time, maybe that helps? Yes, nothing important. I do use the integrated Windows antivirus.
No, that’s a different shortcut so that won’t matter.
The one for safe mode includes a “/SafeMode” command line switch:
Normally, two shortcuts are created here:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Rhino WIP
I deleted that shortcut. Maybe the message will be gone with the next WIP update. Nevermind. If not it will for sure be after I make a clean install at the end of the year.
