Is there a way to combine vray animation (water texture and proxies) with grasshopper slider animation?

Eventually is it possible to animate proxies inside grasshopper, and drive animation by slider?

Or maybe create some proxies for Vray by grasshopper…?

I have a feeling I would need to turn to Blender or 3dmax, but I prefer to keep all projects in Rhino since my design work is done there, and its commonly used in my team.
