I am having this problem with the visualization of the model.

Looks like a clipping problem. Is the shape valid? You can test this with the Null Item component. Invalid shapes may well result in incorrect bounding boxes which would cause the display to think the extent of the model is much smaller than it really is.
A ‘fix’ would be to create a box around your model and disable the preview, but that will only trick the display, it will not fix whatever the underlying cause for the wrong bounding box is.
