VisualARQ crash when selecting default beams in custom templates

Dear @fsalla ,

I am writing to report an issue encountered after installing the latest VisualARQ update.

The beam tool is currently not functioning as expected. Specifically, when I open my custom starter template, I can only select my personalized beam styles. Every time I attempt to select any of the standard, default beam styles, the program crashes immediately.

Conversely, if I open a default VisualARQ template without any customization, the beam tool works perfectly, and all styles can be selected without any issues.

Could you please assist me in resolving this conflict between the new update and custom templates?

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your feedback.

Sincerely,

Alessandro

Hi @Alessandro_Barbisan can you share a file from your custom template so we can try to reproduce this crash?

Thanks!

@fsalla I’ve sent you the template in a private message.

Hi @Alessandro_Barbisan got your file, thanks! I could reproduce the crash, so we will look into this immediately. I’ll keep you posted.

@fsalla Hi Francesc,

have you managed to fix this bug?

Also, I’d like to report that since the latest update, roof previews are missing from my template, both in the dialog box when placing them and within the style preview pane.

Hi @Alessandro_Barbisan I’m testing this error again with the current public VisualARQ 3.11 version, and it doesn’t happen anymore. Can you try it also on your side? https://www.visualarq.com/download/update/

You are right. We will investigate what’s happening.

Hi @fsalla I’ve already installed the 3.11 version

Ok Thanks!
