Hi there - as the title suggests, I have been getting a strange bug when isolating (or isolate lock) only when the Sections panel is visible.
Upon pressing isolate, the 3 buttons (circled in image) start flickering and Rhino freezes up for anywhere between 30 seconds and a few minutes. It eventually unfreezes, but as you can imagine, this is quite an annoying problem.
Is it possible to get this fixed?
Hi @Ben_B I’ve also noticed a difference of time to isolate a selection of objects when the section manager panel is displayed and when it is not. But the difference is just of 3-4 seconds, not 30. I guess you are trying this with a larger model and a larger selection of objects. We will investigate if there is any error on that and if this timing can be improved.
@Ben_B which Rhino and VisualARQ versions do you have?
Thank you for your reply! Yes I am working with quite large models, like 400-800MB.
My Rhino version is:
Version 8 SR17
(8.17.25043.10001, 2025-02-12)
And VisualArq is:
Version 3.2.0.19490 - (2025/02/04)

All right, thanks! Until we don’t fix this problem, try to do not have the Section panel visible when you hide a large number of objects.
