Rhino5 is having issues rendering using the my current graphics card, I have installed the latest drivers:
ATI Techologies Inc.
Radeon RX 580 Series
However, when I disable the graphics card using the device manager on my computer, Rhino seems to be working fine when Intel® HD Graphics 630 is enabled. I would like Rhino to be using my installed graphics card to process geometry so I am trying to figure out why it doesn’t seem to be compatible? Other softeware like Autodesk Dynamo actually requires my graphics card to preview Geometry. Why is that not also the case with Rhino5?
AMD Radeon HD cards are problematic for Rhino 5 for Windows. They will be better for Rhino V6. These adapters are intended for DirectX graphics only. Video drivers from AMD for the Radeon cards after December 2013 cause strange artifacts in shaded display modes when anti-aliasing is enabled. We hope to work-around these limitations for V6 Rhino for Windows.
