Viewports not displaying any geometry (completely black)

Hello,

Rhino5 is having issues rendering using the my current graphics card, I have installed the latest drivers:

ATI Techologies Inc.
Radeon RX 580 Series

However, when I disable the graphics card using the device manager on my computer, Rhino seems to be working fine when Intel® HD Graphics 630 is enabled. I would like Rhino to be using my installed graphics card to process geometry so I am trying to figure out why it doesn’t seem to be compatible? Other softeware like Autodesk Dynamo actually requires my graphics card to preview Geometry. Why is that not also the case with Rhino5?

The OpenGL drivers for the Radeon GPUs have bugs that AMD never fixed.

From the McNeel wiki on Video Card Recommendations for Rhino 5 for Windows:

AMD Radeon HD cards are problematic for Rhino 5 for Windows. They will be better for Rhino V6. These adapters are intended for DirectX graphics only. Video drivers from AMD for the Radeon cards after December 2013 cause strange artifacts in shaded display modes when anti-aliasing is enabled. We hope to work-around these limitations for V6 Rhino for Windows.

Try turning off anti-aliasing.

Also please test with the Rhino v6 Release Candidate 1.

I have had great results with both my RX 480 and RX 550, the WX 9100 also works great.
