Viewport performance with blocks in WIP 7.0.20147.1247

Hi,
I notice a poor viewport performance compared to Rhino 6.
Say you copy a few blocks in a 10 x 10 x 10 array and put in in perspective rendered view.
No issue in V6, in V7 it freezes the viewport.
Anyone else facing this problem?

I revised the same file on an old laptop with GTX 980M card which had a much better (real time) performance.

Non-hybrid graphics.
Primary display and OpenGL: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M (NVidia) Memory: 8GB, Driver date: 4-3-2020 (M-D-Y). OpenGL Ver: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 445.87

So I assume the poor performance on the RTX 2080 is coused by a certain setting.
Any Idea what could couse the problem?

Hoi Mario -

Testing your file on my system with an old GeForce GTX 860M, I wouldn’t go as far as saying that there isn’t an issue in Rhino 6 on my system, but Rhino 7 definitely performs a lot worse.
It’s pretty surprising to me that it performs so well on your GTX 980M.
At any rate, I’ve put it on the list as RH-58833 for a developer to take a closer look at.
