After creating a front elevation viewport of a kitchen and turning off the "detail’ light bulb for a certain layer (a table), I’m still seeing a few lines from the table on the elevation. BUT, I can not select them when I enter into the model space of the viewport (double click on the view port)! And they print too so I have no idea what to do. Interestingly, when I turn off the main layer for the table, the line disappears. But the problem now is that i do want to show that table in other views, so I don’t want to have to turn off the master layer, just the specific viewport. What are these non-selectable lines and how do I get rid of them? (maybe somehow embeded into the table and they’re not recognized by the detail light bulb?)
The unselectable objects might be Locked.
How do I unlock it?
Youll see in my video that I can turn off the detail bulb and it turns off most of the table, except a few lines… those I can only turn off if I turn off the master layer, which I dont want to do because it affects all the view ports. Help!
If you want specific objects hidden in a viewport Detail, make the detail current, run HideInDetail, and select them.
That’s not the problem. The line is not selectable at all. I think it has something to do with the fact that this model was imported from sketchup?
It’s very hard to see what’s going on just by looking at that video. Can you save a copy of that file, isolate just that geometry and post it here?
