Viewport names to match human terms of views

Hi,
Front shows front of car,
left shows right side aka offside of car,
top shows top of car,
right shows left side aka nearside of car.

is there any way we can have the name to our liking, so
right shows right side of car, left the left.

I know right means view from the right at the object (and not the right side) , but even then my brain still says surely thats still the right side being seen if thats the case.

You can rename viewports, either manually or with a script/macro. Perhaps create a template file with the viewports configured the way you want?
