Viewport lost orthogonality?

how can this ever happen and how does it get resolved? Shouldn’t the default window FRONT always be normal to the Y axis? my model is not twisted - new blocks don’t line up edges either… is this a known bug?

Hopefully I am using appropriate terminology to describe the issue.

It is possible to “knock” an ortho viewport out of orthogonality with ctrl+shift+RMB drag… You can reset it by right clicking on the viewport title and choosing Set View > Front (or Top, or whatever).

The 4View command should reset all your viewports to default.
