Viewport layout won't load as saved version

Hello,

I wanted to make 3 viewport layouts and saved it via “Windows-Windows layouts-Save windows layout”

Then when I close and open new rhino, It won’t remember the layout.

I would like to have this kind of window layout: 3 view on left, one perspective view on the right.

Searched the forum but I think it is still an issue.

Thank you in advance.

hi @m.oguz this is a file setting, not a system setting or Window Layout setting. So once you made the changes, you need to save it as a template file.

thank you @Gijs , where is the Rhinoceros system location that can I copy “my template”?

And please add similar to 3ds max “viewport layout tabs” so we can choose ones.

Blender’s way is more convenient and easiest but it has to be saved as template too like 3ds max.

Hi -

You can use the SaveAsTemplate command to save your current file in the default Templates folder. Other than that, you can always just save a file anywhere that is convenient to you and make it a start-up template in the Rhino Options.
