This is what the viewports look like when opening an old file. It’s originally started in V5 and has been continued in V6. I thought this was fixed.

Approximately the same size viewports, yes.
However… I noticed something that might have to do with the problem. If a open the file on another computer with different screen resolution (my laptop, for instance) I might get this behaviour…
I hope the guy at McNeel/Europe that contacted me by email sees this also (I don’t remember his name, sorry).

Hi Philip - I have your file now.
@Philip - not much useful to report so far - both files open here with four equal sized viewports - the V6 one seems to have nothing in it though. My Windows machine (4k monitor) and Mac (1440 x 900) have very different resolutions.
