ViewCaptureToFile Not Working

Hello, I’m having a problem with the viewcapturetofile command on rhino7 for mac. It’s worked fine in the past, but recently I’ve been seeing a black screen. I found in other forums this was probably a problem with my GPU drivers. I’ve deleted my rhino defaults, but this has not helped. Now instead of a black screen, I see a black screen with dashed blue and red lines. Please help.

Was this working in previous service releases of Rhino 7 for Mac?

Yes, it worked fine for Rhino 6, but I’m not sure about previous releases of Rhino 7. I’ve only had this problem very recently. Though another factor may be that I had a bit more storage back then.

Try setting antialiasing to none in the OpenGL options. This may help as it will require less from your gpu.

Hi Steve, thank you for your reply. I haven’t tried antialiasing, but the viewcapturetofile command has been working again since I cleared up more storage space.
