A customer of mine are having issues saving to network drives - it takes much longer (10 times longer perhaps) than saving to a local drive or USB flashdrive for instance. The connection to the server running the samba shares are good and files can quickly without issues be copied back and forth in Explorer but even a small file slows Rhinoceros to a halt when saving.
I know the problem description is very vague and it can be anything, but is there anything I can try in my process to find out what is causing this slowdown? According to the user, it’s something that began recently.
