Very slow performace when work in big polysurface

Specially in the last few release, I notice extremely slow performace when I work with big polysurface.
In these cases I come back to rhino 5.

That’s strange since you should be experiencing exactly the opposite. The WIP should be much faster for large polysurfaces than V5. Would it be possible to send me the model that is showing this behavoir?

Hi Marco, I am seeing the slowdown with the model you sent and am in the process of diagnosing what the cause is.

Every extract surface or join surface from a big polysurface are time consuming.

I found one location where there is definitely a slowdown in performance. I was performing tangent edge/seam calculations for every edge even if the display mode is set to show all edges (the typical case). I am adjusting the code right now so this does not happen.
