Vertically invisible edge

The selected edge is not visible from the vertical line of sight (TopView).
Previously, the polyline was not visible vertically, but I confirmed that it has been fixed. This has improved work efficiency. Can you make the edges visible too?

This appears to be fixed in 8.12

Unfortunately, it hasn’t been fixed.
I have updated both the latest version and the release candidate version, but it is not visible from a vertical perspective like the attached image.

The currently installed version is version 8 sr13.

Not fixed in the latest Rhino 7.

weird…works here-

maybe reset your display model to it’s defaults?

Is it correct that you used ctrl+shift+LMclick rather than dragging? When dragging, not only the edge is selected, but also the vertex. Try clicking only the edge in the manner described above.

What you just answered is that the vertex is selected, not just the edge, so the point is visible in the vertical line.

Of course, selecting by dragging solves the problem to some extent. However, in an environment where many objects overlap, it is very difficult to select the edge by dragging only the part you want. When the selection filter of the subd object is activated only for the edges and the edges are selected, they are not visible from the vertical line, like polysurfaces.
Please look at the image below. The difference between drag selection (edge+vertex) and ctrl+shift+LMclick is clear.

Since I am Korean, I used Google Translate. Therefore, the context of language expression may be strange. Please understand.
