Hello, I need to 3D print this vaulted ceiling model but can’t seem to be able to make a healthy closed solid out of it… I will probably gonna need to remake it… Any advice on why surface offset comes out that crappy and how to handle this?
Here is the surface file.

Thanks.
hope your working in V8. I extracted a few on the intersecting surfaces and split them with each other . Is this what you are looking for? I left one not done.—Mark

Unfortunately, I am working in V7… can you export it as V7 model?

Hi,
Thanks for sending the file.
So the key issue is that once I offset surface by 2mm the central solid ends up being an open poly rather than a closed solid. I need the whole model to be closed solid. Ideally that surfaces offset by 2mm.
So when I join all the surfaces into one and offset it, weird things start to happen. Sorry if I didn’t explain the issue correctly.
