vaExportToDWG Isometric View - Bug?

Hello Rhinos,

I work daily with Visual Arq and Rhino 8, often using the vaExportToDWG command to export a layout with all layers as a DWG, and then continue working in Illustrator.

However, when I set up an Isometric View in the layout, the lines are no longer exported, but instead, a .png file is created and saved in the .dwg. A workaround with Make2D is of course possible, but it has some disadvantages.

Maybe this is a bug, or is it just me experiencing the problem? If anyone cannot reproduce the issue, I can upload a demo file.

Hi @leonardruven, only the views in Hidden or Wireframe display mode will be exported as 2D geometry with the vaExportToDWG command.

Yes, that’s it! I changed the hidden display mode slightly, that might have been the problem. Thanks for the quick reply!
