Is there any plan to make VA objects associated with dimensions?
Osnap does not work with center of walls. I think this is also big issue.

Yes, we have plans to have dimensions linked to VisualARQ objects. We will keep you posted about this. As for the Osnap issue, I cannot reproduce it. Could you show me an example?
Osnap has no issue. What I mean is Midpoint Osnap doesn’t work with “Center of Walls.”
Midpoint works with only mid-point of each wall layers.

I guess you need this, for example, in cases like this one to choose the midpoint of the selected wall instead of the midpoint of the wall layer. Is that correct? If this is what you mean, I am not sure if it will be possible as Osnap is a Rhino feature, but I’ll see if there is something we can do from our side.

Ok, so you need to have the axis of the wall available for snaps. I guess you are interested to have this wall axis displayed in the views in some cases as well, aren’t you?
Yes. Something lie that. Actually, we are already having wall center line created automatically through grasshopper. We are also using this for room area calculation. You can do that with “Space”, but you can’t calculate room area with wall center line. And these center lines are used for area calculation drawings for building permit. It would be really handy if VA could offers this feature. I attach GH file.

Hi @asisintel, unfortunately, we haven’t been able to solve this yet, so it won’t be ready in VisualARQ 3. We will keep you posted.

Yes, we are working on a new page that will show the most relevant new features in VisualARQ 3. The WIP version will be released in a few days.
