I am drafting house plans and have multiple layouts I would like to print. The problem seems to arise with VisualARQ objects only, other lines print fine. When I go to print preview, any layouts that are not the one that was active when I entered the print preview, the associated VisualARQ objects to not print. For example LAYOUT1 and LAYOUT2 both have VisualARQ objects. I have LAYOUT1 active and do a file print. LAYOUT1 will print VisualARQ created objects but LAYOUT2 will not (but regular Rhino created lines print). The opposite is true if I have LAYOUT2 active when I do a file print.
Does anyone know a workaround?
I have Rhino V5 64 and have tried this with VisualARQ 1.9.6/1.9.6/2.0RC2 with PDF Creator 2.0 and pdf 995. All have the same results.
I’ve been able to reproduce this issue in my computer. It seems there are problems with VisualARQ objects when printing a layout that is not active in the editor. I’ll try fo fix it for 1.9.8 and VisualARQ 2.0 RC3.
HI @enric, I just installed the VA 2.0 release and it appears to still have the pdf printing issues. Hopefully the problem is being worked for the next update?
Yes, it seems this broke again (or it wasn’t completely fixed). I’m looking at it right now. I’ll try to include a fix in VisualARQ 2.0.13, which I expect will be released this week.
The what’s new page has been updated with the latest changes. As we have rebuilt the website from scratch, there are some pages that hasn’t been updated and missing translations. We’re trying to bring all up to date as fast as possible.
My idea is to release VisualARQ 2.0.13 this week AND update the what’s new at the same time.
