V8 - nothing is printed

Sadly, I have to join the choir complaining about printing in V8.
First thing spotted while adjusting the print properties is that margins are still displayed even being ‘zeroed’:

Second: the file size after printing is ‘zeroed’ too:

I have the most recent updated (today’s 8.7).

How are the results going to PDF?

Can you post a file exhibiting this and a full screenshot of your Print settings? Thanks

I wish I could show you my printing panel but it exhibits another V8 display problem - everything gets blurry:

You have to dig the file which comes as V7. I had to convert it in order to be able to print. V7 prints fine.
The file itself comes through upload.

Seeing a similar result with the RhinoPDF, everything is OK in Bluebeam or Microsoft Print to PDF settings. Thanks for reporting RH-81691

Hmmm.
What’s your theory then? Where should I look?

The youtrack will have the details as soon as the Developers can dig into it. This will be a high priority item.

Thanks.

Thanks for the update on this. I wondered if this will include other (possibly related?) issues with detail print width settings? I posted about this here: Print width not working correctly in Rhino 8 - #7 by ARC_Guitars

It’s possibly I’m just misunderstanding the behaviour but it does seem to work differently to V7. I’ve tried exporting the files I’m working on to V7 and the print width issue goes away. I’ve also tried creating a new layout and detail view in V8 but still get the issue.
