V8 Materials do not sort alphabetically

Within minutes of evaluating v8 I see the materials panel does not sort alphabetically.
(Out of thousands of users am I the only one seeing these ? )

Hi Thomas -

That seems to be working here:
2024-01-26 - Sort Materials

Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste that information here.

the key is that thomas is using tree view and you are using list view

it will not sort in tree view, but as a workaround you can switch to list view, sort, and then switch back to tree view

I made this error yesterday, and my layers went all over the place.

but you are not on tree-view, like in my video example.

thanks @ThomasAn
