V8 material editor

Hi McNeel or anyone else who might know :slight_smile:
I’ve been meaning to ask this for a while, but never got around to it:
In the V8 material editor you can - just like in V7 - right click the file name of a texture in its slot (eg. Base Color) and select “Copy”. In V7 you could then right click the “Click to assign texture” area of another slot (eg. Roughness) and paste the texture there. In V8, no such option. I can drag’n’drop, using Ctrl to copy and Alt to link, but has the Right click option, in regards to pasting, been axed altogether? If so, why (Edit: What I mean is: Why can you copy, if it’s not possible to paste?)

Thanks for reporting. This is a bug. I logged it RH-80442 Cannot paste directly to “click to assign texture” link

I fixed the bug. The fix will be in Rhino v.8.6.
